DHTML Menu Builder Actions
PreviewingOne of the greatest features of DHTML Menu Builder may be its ability to let you preview how your menus will look, without going through the entire implementation process, giving you the ability to know if the menus are going to look just the way you want them to.
The preview process will go through a preliminary compilation without actually creating the .js files and create a sample Web page that will display your menus and automatically create sample hot spots elements so you can test the menus' behaviors.
To preview your work, simply click on the Preview icon
or use the keyboard shortcut: CTRL+I.
By default, DHTML Menu Builder will use the integrated Preview module, but you can choose to preview directly to any browser you may have installed on your system. To select the default browser you to use when previwein, just click on the small arrow besides the Preview icon and click on Set Default Browser...
Using this dialog you will be able to add browsers to the list and choose which one to use when previewing. Note that you can also specify applications other than browsers. For example, you could add the Notpad application, so instead of previewing the code visually you can see its source.
The default browser is identified by the one in bold text.
In order to use the integrated Preview module you will need to have Internet Explorer version 4 or above installed (Version 5.5 is highly recommended).
